Which Programs can use Consumer Directed Services in Texas?
If you’re enrolled in a Texas Medicaid or long-term care program, you may be eligible to choose Consumer Directed Services (CDS) in Texas.
CDS allows participants to consumer-direct or self-direct certain services. This means you hire, train and manage your own attendants instead of using a traditional agency model. Many major Texas programs offer the CDS options.
